Pointwing’s Boolean search strings can be created to perform “deep searches” to extract desired information and may be used alone or in conjunction with the search of other fields. Users can perform a Boolean search by simply typing in the search string which identifies the criteria they wish to match. These searches can be done from scratch or prompted and can be performed from the Quick Lookup screen as well. Search results, with the matching keywords highlighted, will return a score based on how closely the result item matches the criteria.
