Pointwing Advanced Searches
The Advanced Searches possible in Pointwing recruiting software can include virtually any search variable you can imagine.
Advanced Search enables the recruiter to develop their own search statement, which can be as complex or as simple as they need. For example, a search may look for a candidate resource who has specific skills, work title, education and/or work history, with a specified number of years of experience in their field, and who lives within proximity of a specific Zip Code. This gives the recruiter the ability to easily and quickly design the specific search they need to find a candidate, employee or other document data. They can also search within the object (record) or across objects (records).

Advanced Search offers the recruiter several options in how they wish to perform their search. The recruiter can create a search through Pointwing recruiting software to get just a count of the matching records if they wish. Searches can be created as needed, or a search can be created and saved to run on demand. For each variable in any search, the user can indicate whether or not to prompt the user to enter the matching criteria (see Prompted Searches). This gives the user the ability to set up easy-to-use searches for the recruiter who may not be comfortable within advanced search.
Following an Advanced Search, the recruiter has the option to filter or group the results.
